Yup, I was coming down with something. I spent all night coughing and I fear I kept Heather up till dawn. By now I’m awake, but groggily so. I spent way too much time fooling with Facebook last night and can see the addiction, if not 100% of the appeal. I have the fear that people are going to try to use it to keep in touch with me… and I’m going to suck at it! Still – got my page up and running, and now have the band page up and running. And now I’ve got to figure out how to integrate our reverbnation page, our facebook page, MY facebook page, our two facebook fan groups, our web page, our myspace page, our twitter page – and make them all work together… No problem. I was thinking about it in the shower.
By now we’re traveling through the rugged West Pennsylvania landscape towards West Virginia, admiring the icefalls off the sides of the mountains and marveling at the intensity of it all. It’s a grey overhanging day, somehow appropriate to my skull (oh how I couldn’t stand the sunshine right now) and we’ll be meeting up with Kristen and Amy soon. It’s definitely a weird trip – what with Heather having come in from Indiana, me coming from Maryland, Rowan joining us for a show and Kristen joining us for the weekend we’ll have had four cars in play for this “Tour”. I’m non-plussed by the idea, but it seems to be working.
