Well, last night we hit up the Egremont Barn open mic and advertised for the show – and tonight we play the show! We’re joined by Mark Tuomenoksa on keys and saxophone because we CAN – and spent a good bit of the day just jamming with him at his place to get the feel of one another.
The host of the Barn’s open mic on Tuesday night. Mark Tuomenoksa jamming at the Barn in Egremont, MA.
It wasn’t the smoothest of shows, right up to and including the fact that in hindsight I think my pickup was acting up, but it WAS a lot of fun. We had a decent turnout and an amazing dinner, and really, sometimes that’s all you need!
Just the local scenery. Hit up a local coffeehouse despite 1 star reviews accusing it of being run by “slow hipsters”. The slow hipsters seem to take this in stride, and yes – the coffee was about four dollars… but pretty good. Mark has ALL the toys. These are just the toys hanging in the bathroom. (mic stand storage is in the shower stall) Well, a beautiful afternoon is coming to a close. Time for a beautiful night!
