December 17th, 2020. So… about your paranoia…

Sigh. THINK about your conspiracy theories at least? I was curious about someone’s statement that “this is what you want to inject in your body!” linking to an interesting patent about using “devices” (the patent states that this could be a smartwatch or the user’s phone or something) to track time and work for the purposes of “mining” cryptocurrency (rather than processing cycles on your computer or whatever)… it’s notably devoid of references to vaccines or whatever – or geolocating people (which I think was her implication) – but of course now I’m getting ads for cryptocurrency investment.

Sigh – I wonder if the woman who posted the link is getting these ads? I can’t imagine she is because she CLEARLY hadn’t read the damned patent.

SO I’m not sure why the person who posted this wasn’t paranoid enough to think “gosh, Facebook just geolocated me, (mistakenly) thinks I’m interested in cryptocurrency – but now has identified me as being anti-vax and can now share that information with my health insurance company – is identified as being concerned about being tracked (and can share that info with… well… whoever you’re worried about being tracked by) – like…. how can you both be paranoid AND be on Facebook?

Easy when you consider %85 of people who own devices don’t care how they work. Any explanation is going to have limited mileage with them.

Yeah – sort of of the opinion that when you declare for Flat Earth you have to turn in your GPS and when you declare you’re scared of being tracked you have to burn yer SIM card… or whatever else.
