I can’t thank you enough. This isn’t a complete list. Not by a long shot. But 2020 has been difficult for so many people – and yet our fans and friends, listeners and watchers have literally paid the rent and kept us going. Right at the top of the list I need to place Institute of Musical Traditions, House of Musical Traditions, Dave Eisner and the Maryland State Arts Council. Kristen and I especially have been very fortunate to have work that has pivoted well to being online and early on in the pandemic Dave and IMT saw the value in what I’d developed for rob’s Open Mics – raising the volume on what I was doing so it could be recognized by other clients both big and small. rob’s Open Mics and the efforts that Rowan and I have put forth in keeping an online community of artists alive and kicking has also been recognized by the state of Maryland and Baltimore County and generously supported.

We’re a long way from playing regularly again in person – either for open mics, as ilyAIMY – or just at the local farmer’s markets. Our webcasts provide a trickle of income and more importantly an OUTPUT keeping us sane as we’re trapped without the face-to-face interaction and touring that’s kept us from going crazy and / or broke for the last 20 years.

Who knows what happens next.
