I’ve known Laura Baron for a long time, but I know her mostly as client, really – and so I sometimes gloss over just how talented she is. It was an honour to have her perform at the SPRING open mic, and though numbers continue to be FAR too low, her joy and beauty, combined with the bass playing goodness of Pat Quinn just made the whole night glow, despite the cold, rainy night outside.
Tonight we were graced with Jay Keating, Joey Jenkins / Silence Echoez, Kate Buckholdt, Stephen Hunt, Juels Bland and Ethan Mendick.
