February 8th, 2022. The Spring (and the Lair) with the Honey Badgers.

Unfortunately tonight I managed to not bring a battery along for my “good” camera so naught but phone pictures tonight! Fortunately, Juels Bland (above) hams it up a little less if you just subtly point a phone at him rather than a big ass DSLR!
Mr Dearly in the house.

Working hard to bring people together, even if they’re in Delaware. So grateful that Erin and Michael of the Honey Badgers made the time to come down and visit us. I’ve been sort of trying to figure out how to make a nest for road warriors again… it used to be Teavolve attached to whatever weekend show they had – or a two-fer with Teavolve and Busboys or whatever else I had running. An open mic feature will never be worth a trip, but combining it with something else makes a great way to deal with an off night on the road…

I’m really incredibly grateful that Jesse Moody’s found us again!

But of course, EVERYTHING is chaos. Heather and I really haven’t even THOUGHT about distance booking yet. Anything more than a day-trip away just invites too many variables.

Fortunately, the Honey Badgers missed the road as much as we missed the Honey Badgers and they accepted our invitation for a little road trip!

As usual, the webcast falls apart after around 8.30pm, but you get the Honey Badgers!
And sort of continuing the thought from above – the way to make it worth their while is to let them stay over, and then do Live from the Lair with them the next night! We’re no longer socially-practiced PLUS LftL starts an hour later nowadays so there was a little bit of (a lot of) just hanging around the house in an awkward fashion… but it was absolutely worth it!!!!
