Lights are a PROBLEM some nights. I’m sort of frustrated with the light trees we’ve got and so I firmly leave them in the hands of, and at the feet of, Dave Eisner.
I think he landed us on green tonight. It was the result of a LOT of stomping and that’s just sort of where we landed. In hindsight, we should’ve kept on stompin!
Our featured artist was none other than the guitar and mandolin duo of From the Dirt – and Dan Kenny (writer and lead vocals) and Jeff Karn (mandolin) are always a welcome combination. Generally I think in terms of “That Dan Kenny, he sure is a cool writer, and Jeff and Dan together do cool things on their instruments” because I’m kinda string-centric. But tonight I got to really be focused on their VOICES and they really, really blend beautifully.
Grateful to have had them.
