A very full night but a very satisfying one. Braedan rolled in crazy-late for his featured slot, and usually I wouldn’t call someone out on that in the Journal, but… Braedan’s a known quantity. Incredible night of talent. Cool performances. One of my favourites. And I totally failed to try and cut the night off by 10pm. Or 11pm. It was just worth every moment. Listened to 90s hip hop on the drive home. Lo-fi and entrancing. Take me away from the real world, driving away from Washington DC.
Tonight I was more conscious about just setting my camera down and Living in the moment rather than through the viewfinder. I’m grateful to be able to do that.
