It’s crazy to think that it’s only just summer as of today. I think. We keep thinking “it’s been a crazy summer”. It’s merely been a crazy spring.

It’s midnight, and we’re going to try and go to sleep very, very soon… but 8am won’t come soon enough, and the 9 hour drive won’t pass fast enough.

I think at the time I was probably too worried about not posting private moments on the Journal, so this does NOT appear in the original entries – but these are pictures from Heather and I playing our first wedding – the marriage of our friends Dave and Patrick in Washington DC LONG before it was legal. Proud to have been able to do this for them.

Of course, one of the first things we HAVE to do on getting back to Maryland is to go play the College Perk open mic. Here's our percussionist Rowan not playing percussion with one of our favourite singer/guitarists (not singing or playing guitar) Ash.

And of course, what's a homecoming without a good water fight? Chris, College Perk's owner, retaliates against his Lovely barrista Mitzi.

Our last gig of this leg was very pleasant – playing the Lazy Daze coffeehouse was just that… lazy and it passed in a daze. Fireflies distracted us, Heather even caught one in the middle of Argonauts.

Life’s fun.
