I have nothing to say about the shooting in Connecticut. I wish I did. I wish I had an intelligent response to the horror and the tragedy that’s occurred – but I don’t. A lot of the extant response is unintelligent and reflexive and predictable and I’m just sad to see all the rhetoric repeat itself with so many Lives reduced to nothing more than exclamation marks. I’ve been recording Ash all day – and that was a horrible way to have the world return to me.
