I’m thirty years old, and today was the first time I ever gave anyone the finger in traffic. It’s a turn that always makes me nervous – the right-hand turn into College Perk is directly before a right-hand exit, and generally, if your blinker’s on, people assume you’re heading for that exit, rather than the sharp, tight little turn into the Perk’s gravel driveway…. and so generally, people are pretty surprised when you slow down as MUCH as you do, and ride your ass right into the dirt there. I’m surprised there haven’t been more accidents.

Big white van behind me today, honking and honking and honking. And the finger couldn’t resist. I’ve always held that it does no good, and it’s not even as satisfying as just cussing the air of one’s car blue, but God DAMN it was good to hear him honking even more.

Bastard. Maybe Jeff’s right. I want a gun. No… that’s a BAD idea.
