We went to an OPEN MIC tonight. Which was – well, we weren’t sure what it was going to be but it turned out to be simply a perfect night. A good sandwich, some great performers, a beautiful evening with the almost-full-moon rising above a rustic outdoor stage – and generally the most normal I’ve felt in a LONG time.
I took my Canon M50 out for a spin – I’d bought it primarily for video, but it’s NICE to have a decent camera that’s not as HUGE and HEAVY as my old 5D IIs! Still, I’m aware of not having the finesse and SHARPNESS of the heavier DSLR… hrm. Shall enjoy exploring further.
We brought our mics, played our little hearts out in this Westminster parking lot, and really enjoyed ourselves. Tuesday nights. 6-9pm. Check it out!
