At the Victoria Station Cafe in Putnam, CT – Keren Lee receives the perfect latte.

Uhm… yeah.

Mike and Ari getting ready to watch the Patriots playoff game. I don’t care much for football, and don’t pay much attention. Unfortunately, I hear the other team got more baskets. Or something.

We’re in the studio and we’re exhausted and Rowan’s finishing off drum tracks and we’re all yawning and impressed that he hasn’t waned. He does what needs to be done… and indeed… isn’t this merely the definition of a HERO?

Whatever. It’s freezing outside and I’m not looking forward to the walk back to the cars, or the drive back home, or the stops on the way. Last night was a really long night, and today was a very long day. This evening has gone on forever, and promises more length before tomorrow morning.

On the other hand, Choke Cherry, Speaking Louder Now, Bearclaw’s Mule, Matador, Allergy and Drift are now all almost complete. There’s a Heather vocal part, another Heather vocal part, some nothing, a guitar solo, some more nothing and a whole lot of nothing else to be done to these songs, respectively, and I have high hopes of accomplishing all of the above tomorrow… IF I can fall asleep tonight.
