ilyAIMY and Acacia Sears go way back and though February 3rd is kiiinda late for her birthday party, and a bit early for mine, we didn’t need MUCH of an excuse for a show. We’ll be bringing the whole band, so you’ve got acoustic guitars, electric cello, piano, drums, bones, didgeridoo and more…
We’ve sung together in coffeehouses and bars and in our basements, and we’re big fans of one another’s music. We’re excited to share a stage with Acacia once again – and to play her music – new and old. And she’s told us what SHE wants to dust off of ours, and what new stuff SHE wants to play with… it’s going to be an immense, heartfelt night.
Acacia Sears is an indie-folk singer/songwriter from Baltimore, MD. She weaves emotional experiences through her percussive acoustic songs and is influenced by Aimee Mann and Phoebe Bridgers. Her next project, Egress, recalls divorce, grief, and Millennial Midlife Crisis.
