I wrote up a bunch of wonderful things about Phillip last time I was planning to showcase him. About how much I’d enjoyed his playing, his understated sense of self, his slightly-reminds-me-of-me style of 90s rocker approach to folk sounds. I may have waxed poetic about his hair. But I can’t seem to find ANY of that information anymore which is just a shame – because he doesn’t put himself forward and there’s not a lot written about him. You’ll just have to trust my taste.
