The Darkest Timeline was my featured artist on November 14th – they’re one of my favourite local entities and the combination of Juels Bland and Zach Parkman is truly stunning. Both are great writers, both are great guitarists – and Juels’ voice is truly unique, with Zach’s more traditional vocals providing a pretty marvelous counterpoint.…

However, the dreamy wish-fulfillment of finding that metal-head blonde who appreciates the music like you do coupled with the…

Well, I must admit to some pretty vicious mood swings recently. Going from feeling like things are going to be okay over to the fear that it’s the end of the world and back again – and of course everywhere in between. I feel attacked because of course everyone that’s not straight and white and…

so on stage at the Seeker’s Church show were five guitars that had been put back together by Steve Carmody at House of Musical Traditions : the crack in Rowan’s Takoma, the crack in Heather’s Martin after it was dropped, the loose brace in MY Takoma after I… did what I did… the replaced bridge…

Sunday night, Brennan invited Heather and I to WOWD Takoma Park Radio to advertise for our BIG UPCOMING SHOW at Seeker’s Church! And lo and behold – the guest-host (replacing Dave Eisner) was Dave of WDAV! Huzzah! It was just like WDAV… except I had grey hair and my mental filter was engaged. And no-one…
