A Grey Morning.
Prince is still freaked out and is hiding in his storm shelter spots… A small boat that didn’t stand up to the storms in the harbour in Baltimore. Flooding in Ellicott City, more rain on the way today, tomorrow, the next day. Water in the basement, I’m glad I’m not the owner. Not Our Cat…

#ECStrong Again?
The skies opened and dumped a LOT of rain on us Sunday afternoon. I’ve heard various estimates, but basically “three months of rain in under an hour” seems to be the most accurate representation. Ellicott City has been devastated and apparently we’re one of the few houses without a LOT of water in the basement…

Heather Knows.
So Heather wrote a song that said everything that I tried to say to one of her exes once… and everything I’ve tried to say to my wife… and an awful lot of what I’ve tried to say to myself over the years. Her tune “If We Came Too Late” is hitting me hard right…

Why I Don’t Sleep.
Sigh – man, I’m just not in the mood. Heather’s been very sick and sounds like she’s coughing up bricks, Kristen thinks she’s coming down with something, which – if it’s what Heather’s had – means she’s going to be miserable. At the moment I’m holding my ground and simply can’t afford to get sick…

Going to SERFAaaa ohhhhhoohhhh…. YEAH!
While in Kennett Square, PA on the way back from Longwood Gardens I bought my wife about 2 pounds of mushrooms. I ate about half of the first pound… and then she made Wife Soop! Helpfully labeled, I encountered this… uhm… whatchacallit… oblong… reddish… thingie on the way back from Teavolve Monday night. Wending our…

Air Dry.
Band practice. Retaining edge. Or at least… beating my friends into submission. Orrr… at least… giving everyone a place and a time and practicing getting there! Yesterday Kristen took her mom and I to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. We’ve been going there semi-regularly, managing a couple of Christmas trips and one sort of……
