I wish. Alas, this cold, flu, plague – whatevertheHELL is ravaging my will to Live right now has truly just beaten me down. It struck both Kristen and I Sunday morning and it’s now Tuesday and I’m congested and achy and in danger of becoming downright WHINY!
Actually, I’m kind of surprised and a little heartened as I write that out. I feel like I’ve been sick for a week, but I think that’s mostly because my sleep pattern is really screwed up. I’ve been sleeping 3 hours or so, up for 4 or so… and so until I actually looked at the calendar and did the math I’d sort of been under the impression that I’d been sick for about a week or so.
Thank you math.
Still.
I must be strong.
I must stop dripping.
I haven’t had the will to get much done for the past several days which is really quite frustrating. Had a bunch of web-oriented plans to throw into action, a LOT of booking stuff to get done – and I just haven’t been able to focus on ANY of it. My mouth tastes of zinc lozenges and Ricola lozenges and Dayquil lozenges and ramen noodles, none of which are things I want to taste EVER again, all of which are things that I’ll probably still be subsisting off of tomorrow.
Kristen’s weathering it all with a good deal more grace than I. I’m supposed to get out and play tomorrow. I’ve got my doubts that that’s going to be happening.
Yeah. Music seems to be right out the door. Just mucus for me. And Stranger Things and snot.

Back on December 27th we played our last gig of the year. Heather and I wandered Georgetown for a while before heading over to Gypsy Sally’s to play our little hearts out.

ROCKING on the way home from Gypsy Sally’s. Texted this to Mike Lussier – hopefully we’ll get to play together this summer!
