March 17th, 2020. rob the President.

Well shit. Is the most exciting thing REALLY just seeing an antique cassette shell on the street as we’re walking around?

Today, rob the President would declare :

Business of America:
In times of crisis, the federal government needs to be there for the little guy, but we can’t do that without funds. As America we’ve allowed businesses to flourish and as Americans we’ve supported them. But as Americans – we ask the business owners to give back in this time of crisis.

If you are a business-owner, big or small, and you donate your salary for the next month (as estimated by your 2019 tax filings) to the United States – your business will be listed as a “Business of America” on the new AmericanBusiness.gov website. We are negotiating that google and Amazon as well as other major business sites will elevate “Business of America” businesses to prime spots in their search results. This donation will be fully deductible from your 2020 taxes.

Everyone gets a cat? Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

Build it Back Initiative:
We certainly have heard about how critical infrastructure has GOT to be continued, but with people in non-critical jobs being told to stay home, it is an ideal time for road closures and an accelerated pace of construction, repair and reconstructions on the nation’s highways, bridges and roads. Construction jobs can accommodate social distancing, are not generally occupied by at-risk-demographics, and downtime for the country is the perfect time to get these projects done.

This Too Shall Pass:
And possibly most importantly, there are many jobs that are critical to America’s functioning that do so behind the scenes. Over the next week we will be breaking jobs into four categories. Blackwatch Plaid jobs, critical to our infrastructure, will be enabled to the greatest extent possible – medical professionals and police officers, emergency responders and essential government personnel will be provided with free daycare to allow them to respond properly to this crisis. Secondary jobs (aforementioned construction as well as the less-sexy infrastructure without which our nation would still grind to our halt) like construction workers, garbage collectors, delivery people, grocery store personnel, supply chain workers – if we want them to be able to continue to work for us – we need to be able to provide this for them as well. Work-in-place jobs, those who can work from home and still draw a paycheck will remain unaffected, but workers who are unable to work or draw a paycheck during this time will be provided with a monthly stipend based on the average cost of Living based in your area. In addition, a federal mandate of no utility shut offs or evictions is hereby in place.
