Kosi is an old friend – I’ve known her for many years. She started coming to the Teavolve open mic back in 2016 and it was a pleasure to host her whenever she came through from New York City. As a wandering musician she bussed all across the east coast until she settled here in Baltimore City. Over the course of COVID we grew closer through the Virtual Open Mics, until when it came time for her to get married to Matt Holsen, she called upon ole Reverend rob – which no-one calls me and no-one SHOULD ever call me. Today is her birthday and for her birthday she is our featured artist.
