July 5th. How is it possible that this is my last open mic at Morsbergers till October? Somehow I piecemeal gave away my Sundays to gigs and festivals and clients and Special Events without realizing it and here we are… my last Morsbergers till October. I made a deadbeat dad joke, but I don’t feel good about it.
I really LIKED not going fast last month, and so I tried it again tonight, but then never figured out where to put myself! I wouldn’t want to make a HABIT of going last, I’ve simply too much ego for that, but it worked out well tonight, even if it meant I DID have to go after Alex “Old Crab Hands”.
We (well, currently, THEY) do this every Sunday night at Morsbergers Tavern at 713 Frederick Rd, Catonsville, MD, 21228. Signup around 6.30pm, music at 7pm. 2 songs or 10 minutes, whichever’s shorter. I’ve given up telling people about the food, though it’s good when it’s there, at the moment it’s usually not.
