It’s amazing when someone you’ve only ever heard online shows up and delivers. Tight harmonies, great songs, great playing. It was my first time back to the SPARK in several weeks and though we had very light turnout, it was a fantastic night. Thanks to Jillian Matundan for turning me on to Camila and Maggie for being awesome.
We do this every Tuesday night at School of Musical Traditions’ SPARK performance space (7112 Willow Ave., Takoma Park, MD). Signup by 7pm, randomized list, 2 songs or 10 minutes whichever’s shorter with a fantastic featured artist somewhere in the middle. We’ve got calzones and a piano! What else could you want? Nominally family friendly.
