Okay, it’s taking me forever to get to the audio and video of this, as I’ve been focused on getting the new album done, so I’m going to post the photos and get to that later. Absolutely wonderful night, and the “Welcome Back Dad” song that was a) the sound check tonight from Mike Bragg and Alex is something that I’m b) heavily paraphrasing as I’m not too comfortable with repeating the actual lyrics.
I actually got wondrous feels from the night and felt… Loved!
Got home to find out our old friend Tim Kaye had died absolutely out of the blue. I wasn’t ready for that and the whiplash of the emotion broke me a little bit.
We (well, currently, THEY) do this every Sunday night at Morsbergers Tavern at 713 Frederick Rd, Catonsville, MD, 21228. Signup around 6.30pm, music at 7pm. 2 songs or 10 minutes, whichever’s shorter. The food’s awesome when it’s there (though tonight it was a reduced menu of “just” pizzas and quesadillas)
