I haven’t run my open mic at Morsbergers steadily since… August? The beginning thereof? And so I got up Sunday morning, unsure if my primary guitar was working, unaware of whether or not my Morsbergers Open Mic Hosting muscles were still bulging, unaware of whether or not the cat hath shat the basement or whether or not there were giant spiders down there. Yes. Many mysteries haunted the edges of my mind Sunday morning, but there was naught to do but to get the Hell up and find the Hell out.

I rewired my OX sans incident, and then locked in to record my friend Braedon for Alaina’s “totally solo acoustic EP” which will probably have drums, electric guitar, bass and keys.
I respect musical mission creep.

We broke with an hour or so before the open mic after several hours of recording absolutely epic guitar solos that may or may not have been “cooked”. Braedon is many things, including a fantastic guitars. But one of those things is also an absolute cypher of Gen Z webslang.
Being Gen X, I took a fucking nap.
Off to Morsbergers!
We (I’m baaaack) do this every Sunday night at Morsbergers Tavern at 713 Frederick Rd, Catonsville, MD, 21228. Signup around 6.30pm, music at 7pm. 2 songs or 10 minutes, whichever’s shorter. The food’s awesome when it’s there (though tonight it was a reduced menu of “just” pizzas and quesadillas)
Tonight was a slow night (I went to three songs!) with
