I seriously need to go back and check my Journal to see how many times we get Weathered out in the winter, because it feels like i haven’t done this in FOREVER. How do the open mic go? This goes here, that goes there. I know how to run sound, I swear I do, but what do I do for the list? Lacking a featured artist HITS tonight because the list is comparatively very short, but on the other hand it really makes it a very, very chill night.

Before heading down to Takoma Park for the SPARK I spent some time recording old family cassettes over to my computer. Except for this one. I haven’t had to solve THIS particular problem in a very, very long time!
Every Tuesday, starting at around 4pm, the Protest Bridge backs up traffic on I-95 south. It’s been going on for about a year now (hrm, what was the trigger?) and generally has a different message every week. I’m amazed that though this often seems to add about 20 – 30 minutes to my southbound trips it is NEVER mentioned on local news and traffic stations. Not even when there’s a chicken.

So – even *I* might be getting sick of the snow. This morning there was a big conversation about when we’re going to stop putting furniture out for saving spaces. It seemed like we had neighbourhood consensus on continuing for the time being. It clearly wasn’t 100% because I came home to find my stool thrown in the neighbour’s yard. Fortunately “my” space was still there in front of the house, but now Westowne’s all in an uproar because someone went all up and down the street just chucking people’s chairs around. I hate people.
