| This fucking hospital. It’s new and has definite usability issues. They hung the signage and THEN put up the exit signs. In multiple places. |
It’s been a hard couple of days. My mom fell and broke her wrist on Saturday afternoon and she got surgery to put it back together this morning. Watching her be in that much pain isn’t NEW (she’s broken one wrist or the other over half a dozen times before) but it’s still really hard, and I can’t decide if my usual “treat people with patient kindness” MO is really getting me anywhere, and getting my mother the treatment she needs, or if I should take after my father and start throwing chairs at doctors. Happy Easter.
I stayed at the hospital as long as I could before heading over to Morsbergers. I wasn’t sure if we were going to be expecting much turn out, and it was a slow start, but I think a lot of the holidays send people to the bar after dinner and I’m all too happy to give them a way to express themselves.
We had a cool list. We do this every Sunday at Morsbergers Tavern in Catonsville, MD. Signup at 6.30, 2 songs or 10 minutes whichever’s shorter.
